Latin name: Melissa officinalis. Plant 12" apart in full sun in well-drained loamy soil. Grows 2-3' in height and 18-24" wide. This herbaceous perennial is grown for its edible, aromatic foliage. Its heart-shaped, toothed, rough, deep green leaves have a strong lemon scent.
Plants are sold in 3 stages: Seedling (March/April), Mid-level foliage (April), and Mature (May/June). Please select which stage you would prefer.
