Latin name: Rubus idaeus. Plant 18-24" apart in full/partial sun in rich, well-drained soil. Grows 3-9' in height and 3-9' wide. Spreads readily. This biennial plant should be at least 100 feet apart from blackberries to avoid disease issues. Sprawling, thicket-forming, deciduous shrub with often prickly, cane-like stems.
